PharmacoGenetic Profile

It analyses 116 polymorphisms in the 60 genes most closely related to the processes of Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism and Excretion (ADME) of drugs and encoding for phase I and phase II liver enzymes, transporters and receptors.

It assesses the risk of poisoning and helps to determine the most appropriate treatment.
Test obtained from a saliva sample. Home delivery and collection.
The Pharmacogenetic Profile contains fundamental information to be able to personalise the prescription of medicines and adapt it to personal characteristics and, with it:

  • Knowing which drugs to avoid
  • Have guidance for adjusting the dose
  • To reduce the risks of risky interactions, adverse reactions or therapeutic ineffectiveness
  • It is done only once, our genetics are with us all our lives.

How to obtain your Pharmacogenetic Profile

The Pharmacogenetic Profile is obtained from a simple saliva sample. To collect this sample, we send and collect a kit to the postal address you provide.

Once we have the test results, we will send you an email to the email address you have provided. In this email you will receive your MSC, which is necessary to identify yourself and create your account on the Mylogy Platform.

Once you have created your account, you will be able to consult your Pharmacogenetic Profile. You will also be able to access specific pharmacogenetic panels by pharmacological category or pathology. You will also have a search engine by drug name. The result will offer alternative drug names.

Finally, you can also search by disease, generating a list of medicines indicated for the treatment of the same, with the pharmacogenetic interpretation according to your Profile.
